Music has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember – and ultimately opened the door to the event business. From an early age, it was obvious to Jan Wendling that his future would lie between stage, technology and people. After graduating from high school, he initially completed his training in marketing and communication, but was quickly drawn to self-employment.
During this time, he gained extensive practical experience in the audio sector and at times ran his own recording studio. Simultaneously, he took over the operation management of a nightclub group – a crucial phase in which he learned how to deal with staff along working at unusual times.
During the lockdown, Jan decided to develop professionally and successfully completed his studies to become an event manager, „Veranstaltungsfachwirt“ (Bachelor Professional), in 2021. With the desire for larger productions, he then moved to the Rhine-Main area – and to Soundline.

Today, as a project manager, he is responsible for complex productions with high technical demands. While audio has a special place in his heart, he thinks across disciplines, coordinates processes, keeps an eye on budgets – and ensures that everything ultimately fits together. With a degree in L'Acoustics systems engineering and other qualifications, he is constantly expanding his expertise.
What sets Jan apart: He only stops when the goal has been reached – and he is only at the finish line when everyone is satisfied. Whether crew, customer or artist – what counts for him is collective success. As a team leader in project management and trainer for event managers, he passes on his expertise: reliably, transparently and with the aim of not only realizing events – but making them an exciting experience.
